On August 19, 2021, at about 13:30, in the shelter of the military position of the security zone of the military unit N of the RA Ministry of Defence, the bodies of those on combat duty in this military position, soldiers of compulsory military service of the same military unit, privates Gor Artak Sahakyan, Levon Rafael Harutyunyan and Murad Ashot Muradyan were found with gunshot wounds.

In the investigation department of the second garrison of the Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime envisaged by Article 104, Part 2, Paragraph 1 of the RA Criminal Code.

On the same day, at about 17:40, on suspicion of committing the mentioned crime - the unlawful premeditated killing of the aforementioned servicemen, their colleague, a compulsory serviceman of the same military unit A.H.

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues.

Notification. A person suspected or accused of an alleged crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court judgment that has entered into legal force in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code.
