Vagharshak Harutyunyan receives Deputy Chief of GS of the RF Armed Forces, Colonel-General Sergey Istrakov

On July 13, Acting Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan received a delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Sergey Istrakov, who arrived in Armenia to participate in regular staff talks within the framework of Armenian-Russian bilateral military cooperation.

The Deputy Chief of General Staff of the RF Armed Forces informed Vagharshak Harutyunyan about the scope of the forthcoming work, as well as outlined the issues to be discussed and the issues of bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, the RA Defence Minister noted the range of issues of the greatest importance for the Armenian side.
