On June 22, Acting Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan, accompanied by representatives of the diplomatic corps of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Belarus, accompanied by high-ranking officers, visited Victory Park, laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame, paying tribute to the memory of the dead soldiers.

They then visited the Veterans Union to meet and thank the veterans who made the victory.

It should be reminded that 80 years ago, on this day, Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union without declaring war. Our compatriots also fought bravely alongside the Soviet multinational peoples - the contribution of the Armenians to the achievement of the common victory is invaluable. June 22 is a day of remembrance in all countries that participated in the war.
