During the meeting, the progress of the peacekeeping mission in Artsakh was discussed. Rustam Muradov presented the actions taken by the Russian military group to maintain the ceasefire.

The interlocutors also discussed in detail the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border after the Azerbaijani provocation, and the actions taken by the Armenian side. The head of the Armenian defencse department stressed that any encroachment on the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia is absolutely unacceptable, and that the Ministry of Defence has a clear position on this issue - representatives of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are obliged to return to their starting positions without preconditions.

Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Rustam Muradov discussed possible options for resolving the situation.
