The corps was handed over to the Armenian contingent by the local command for impeccable performance of official duties. During the event, the RA and USA state flags were raised as a sign of high-level relations and mutual support. The solemn ceremony was attended by the command staff of the military base, as well as representatives of the United States, Ireland, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Poland and Austria.

The corps will serve as a venue for national celebrations and other events.
