On January 29, RA Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan received the head of the Russian delegation in Armenia, Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Sergei Istrakov, who is in Armenia to Participate in the Staff Negotiations on the Directions of the Armenian-Russian Bilateral Military Cooperation.

The Deputy Head of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces informed the RA Minister of Defense about the summarized results of the work done during the staff negotiations and further joint programs.

An agreement was reached on the continuation of bilateral cooperation, the continuation of discussions according to the outlined directions, as well as the implementation of the forthcoming planned works.
