Vagharshak Harutyunyan visited the joint command post of the Air Defense of the Armed Forces and Aviation, from where, by joint efforts of the Air Defense Forces of the RA Armed Forces and the Air Defense Forces of the 102nd Military Base of the Russian Federation, combat duty is carried out to protect the air borders of Armenia.

 The Minister of Defense was informed that round-the-clock duty was proceeding normally, no cases of violation of air borders have been registered.

Vagharshak Harutyunyan stressed the need to deepen the Armenian-Russian military cooperation, including in the field of air defense, calling the protection of the air borders of Armenia by joint forces one of the best examples of cooperation.

 Major General Armen Vardanyan, the head of the Air Defense Troops – Head of Department, and the command staff presented to the Minister of Defense the progress of joint work and upcoming activities.
