The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia visited the 102nd military base of the Russian Federation

On December 29, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan visited the 102nd military base of the Russian Federation deployed in Gyumri.
Vagharshak Harutyunyan got acquainted with the infrastructures, armament and military equipment of the military base.

The Minister of Defence congratulated the commanders and personnel of the military base on the occasion of the formation of the unit, encouraged the Russian servicemen who stood out during the service.

Vagharshak Harutyunyan emphasized the role and significance of the Russian military base deployed in Armenia in the context of ensuring security in the region and spoke about the deepening of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership and allied ties.

The Minister of Defence also visited the Orthodox Church of St. Alexandra located in the territory of the military base, as well as the Museum of Military History and made a note in the guest book of the museum.
