Taking into account the numerous applications of the servicemen’s parents and family members in connection with giving the participants of the military operations an opportunity to rest, the RA Ministry of Defence clarifies:

Despite the ceasefire established within the framework of the tripartite agreement, the units of the Armed Forces, with all their personnel, continue to fulfill the tasks set before them. The combat operations are no longer conducted and this fact allows to organize the rest of the personnel in the permanent places of deployment of the military units and carry out the treatment of the servicemen with health problems according to the appropriate procedure.

The Ministry of Defence unconditionally appreciates the self-sacrifice and heroic struggle of the fighters of the Armenian army throughout the war and realizes the importance of the issue raised. We assure that after the full stabilization of the situation, everything will be done to provide leave to the servicemen who took part in the combat operations.

We should add that at the moment, the activities are underway to change the permanent places of deployment of a number of military units and create necessary infrastructure at the new places, as well as to create favorable conditions for the personnel to live and organize the service. The activities will be carried out in the shortest possible time.
