According to the information received from the Defence Army of Artsakh, on the night of October 16-17, the relatively stable tension was maintained in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone. No significant changes were registered in the operative-tactical situation.

At dawn, the enemy forces, once again violating the humanitarian ceasefire, resumed the rocket artillery strikes on the peaceful settlements. The civilian infrastructures of Stepanakert and Shushi were hit more intensively.

The Defence Army units took proper actions to silence the opponent’s fire.

Currently, the operative-tactical situation is under the control of the Defence Army units.
