The Minister of Defence congratulated Mrs. Fazey on starting her mission in Armenia and wished her new achievements in the development of the Armenian-British relations, particularly in the defence sector. During the discussion, David Tonoyan expressed satisfaction with the current level of the bilateral cooperation and expressed hope that after the easing of the restrictions conditioned by the pandemic, the interaction will get a new boost. The sides noted the importance of holding bilateral military-political discussions in order to exchange positions on the international and regional security issues.

The Minister of Defence also touched upon the developments in the region and expressed his concern about the situation regarding the security environment.
