On August 22, Head of the Department of Military Preparedness-Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Andranik Makaryan inspected the combat bases of the N military unit of the fifth military formation. Commander of the military formation, Major-General A. Piloyan presented the operative situation on the border, current fortification activities in the positions and personnel’s combat readiness to Andranik Makaryan.

Lieutenant General Andranik Makaryan highly assessed the current activities, servicemen’s level of readiness, gave instructions to organize the service more effectively.
