Planned exercises of the Armenian-Russian joint anti-aircraft warfare system are being conducted

On July 23, the planned exercises of the Armenian-Russian joint anti-aircraft warfare system were launched, the aim of which is to study the methods of counteracting the reconnaissance-striking UAVs.

During the exercises, new ways of fighting against UAVs will be developed to improve the counteraction system.

The commanders of the subdivisions of the Armenian and Russian surface-to-air missile systems, the Armenian and Russian fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft artillery subdivisions of the RA Armed Forces took part in the trainings and draftings.

Within the framework of the anti-aircraft warfare exercises, the studies of the archives of the means of the objective control and complete factual account of the air situation of the recent combat operations in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border are being carried out on the supplementary basis.

The Armenian side analyzes the opponent’s tactics and actions of the anti-aircraft warfare subdivisions.

Within the framework of the exercises of the joint regional Armenian-Russian anti-aircraft warfare system, the different scenarios of the use and counteraction of the reconnaissance-striking UAVs were played.
