In connection with the expiration of the two-year term of the Public Council adjacent to the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia initiates the rotation of the members of the Public Council adjacent to the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia.

The membership in the Public Council is carried out on a voluntary basis, based on the submitted bid.

The Public Council may include representatives of the non-governmental organizations, mass media, national minority organizations, experts, as well as other interested persons who have at least two years of professional experience in the defence sector.

The bid of the member of the Public Council consists of the following documents:

an application to the RA Minister of Defence,

an autobiography

a photo,

a petition by the nominating organization,

a reference on the activities related to the defence sector.

The bids are accepted from June 15 to July 15 of this year.
