The programs for improving the servicemen’s social conditions will continue

On June 12, a drawing for the beneficiaries of the program, which provides an opportunity to purchase a residential area on the basis of preferential mortgage lending, was held in the open area in compliance with the anti-epidemic security rules.

It should be reminded that according to the relevant decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, from now on, every year, the interest-free mortgage loans will be provided to the 500 contract-based servicemen, officers and senior non-commissioned officers, moreover, 10% of the principal amount of the loan will be reimbursed by the state.

Congratulating the beneficiaries of the program, Deputy Minister of Defence Gabriel Balayan stated with satisfaction that the new ones will soon join this program aimed at improving the servicemen’s social conditions, thus increasing the attraction to the military service.

It should be added that in order to get more detailed information about the program, get acquainted with the conditions of the participation, the contract-based servicemen, officers and senior non-commissioned officers can apply to the Social Security Department of the Ministry of Defence.
