On April 3, a number of websites published the open letter of Vahan Avetisyan arrested in the "Yerevan-Kentron" criminal-executive institution of the RA Ministry of Justice to Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

The Ministry of Defence of Armenia does not consider it appropriate to comment on the above mentioned in order not to harm the ongoing preliminary investigation, as well as taking into account the dubious origin of the letter.

Besides, there is irrefutable documentary evidence pointing to V. Avetisyan's health problems, which the RA Ministry of Defense is ready to publish in case of Avetisyan’s written consent.

We are confident that a comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of all the circumstances of the case will be conducted.
