On the 22nd of May, 2010 in the RA MoD Administrative Complex a conference was held devoted to the issues in the sphere of the RA military industry. The RA MoD Seyran Ohanyan, RA Minister of Economics Nerses Eritsyan, president of the National Academy of Sciences Radik Martirosyan, high ranked militants and other guests took part in the conference.

The goal of this event was to analyze and asses the current situation and the work done by now. Before the conference started exhibits of armaments, military equipment, and modern digital technologies designed and produced in Armenia were exhibited. During the conference in the RA MoD conference hall MoD Seyran Ohanyan stated that with joint efforts we should strengthen, improve, and develop native production. Chief of the RA MoD Department of Military Industry, Colonel Murad Isakhanyan came up with a report. He talked about the gains, the repairing work of military equipment in Armenian factories and other issues. At the end of the conference RA MoD Seyran Ohanyan gave encouraging awards to a number of representatives of the sphere of military industry. RA MoD Department of Information and Public Affairs
