On February 19, at the request of the Azerbaijani side, with the mediation of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk and with the support of the ICRC, in the area of the neutral zone of the Armed Forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan, an Azerbaijani demining group conducted a search for an Azerbaijani serviceman who got lost in unknown circumstances a few days ago.

As a result of the search efforts, the relics of a deceased Azerbaijani serviceman was detected at a distance of a couple of meters from the Azerbaijani military posts and was evacuated.

All the security conditions were ensured for the activities of the Azerbaijani search group throughout the period of the operation permitted by the Armenian side.
