According to the information received from the Defence Army of Nagorno Karabagh Republic, on June 18, 2010 at around 23:30 near the village of Chaylu an armed reconnaissance group from Azerbaijan trespassed the territory of Nagorno Karabagh. The group succeeded in penetrating the north-eastern part of Karabagh-Azerbaijan forces’ contact line.
Due to the awareness of the NK Defence Army soldiers the enemy’s armed group had a confrontation with the border keepers. A close fight took place. Due to the means taken by the Armenian side the attack of the enemy was halted. Leaving a casualty and ammunition the enemy was driven back. In the result of the fighting the Armenian side suffered four casualties and four wounded.
