During the meeting the parties discussed the fates of Arayik Ghazaryan and Karen Ghazaryan, Armenian citizens imprisoned on the Azerbaijani side, highlighted the coordinated activities of the Red Cross offices in Yerevan and Baku to provide them with regular visits and correspondence with their families.

Davit Tonoyan emphasized the importance of cooperation and joint efforts with the International Committee of the Red Cross for the final solution of the problem of the imprisonment of Armenian citizens and their immediate repatriation.

The parties also discussed issues related to the fate of missing persons as a result of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, other issues related to the coordination of work between the RA Committee on issues of hostages, captives and missing persons and ICRC.
