The meeting was attended by representatives of the United Nations Population Fund in Armenia, the Human Rights and Benevolence Center of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, experts, lecturers of the Military University.

The purpose of the discussion was to assess students' expectations and perceptions of future military service, to clarify their viewpoints on providing equal opportunities for female servicemen and obstacles to career advancement.

The discussion was the second in the current year with a focus on formation of the culture to protect women's rights and provide equal opportunities as well as discussion of mechanisms for the introduction of its protection mechanism.
