On the 24th of August in Yerevan the Armenian-American military-medical training was launched the main aim of which was to implement the medical expedition operative reaction field hospital system.
Before the start of the trainings the US instructors had held a two-month course in Yerevan with the Armenian staff of the field hospital, during which the medical and technical staff of the field hospital was trained.
The main goal of the course and the training is to put the medical expedition operative reaction field hospital system on such a level that will allow it to be functional in the territory of Armenia or outside, during extreme situations or peacekeeping missions.
As observers, the representatives from the FRG military-medical service are taking part in the trainings. The trainings will last till the 26th of August.
