Regular monitoring of Armenian-Azerbaijani border conducted

The office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office conducted on 22 May a regular monitoring of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border near Baghanis village in Tavush province.

From the Armenian side of the border the monitoring was conducted by Genady Petrika and Ognen Jovic, field assistants of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk. No ceasefire violations were registered during the monitoring.

As part of the border inspection procedure, the OSCE officials were briefed on the state of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the statistics of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces.

The OSCE officials thanked for the information provided, adding that it would be included in their reports.
