On the 14th of September, 2010 ARM MoD Seyran Ohanyan received the ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Armenia Stefan de Locer. During the meeting they underlined the importance of periodical bilateral and multilateral interactions between the two countries. Ambassador Locer highly praised all the steps and actions initiated by Armenia, which were aimed at Euro-integration and at increasing the cooperation with European and NATO institutions.

The ARM Minister of Defence stated that Armenia is in good relations with Belgium and every condition is present for the two countries to start active cooperation in all spheres, including the defence sector. At the end of the meeting the Minister and the Ambassador exchanged ideas around important regional security matters. RA MoD Department of Information and Public Affairs
