Defence minister meets with former New York mayor
22 October, 2018 15:24Armenian Acting Defence Minister Davit Tonoyan received on 22 October the former mayor of New York, Rudi Giuliani, who is on a private visit in Armenia on the invitation of Ara Abrahamyan, the president of the Russian Armenian Union.
Minister Tonoyan, at the guests' request, briefed him on Armenia’s current security environment. The parties exchanged views on regional and international issues.
They underscored the role of the US – and especially New York’s Armenian communities -- in both the US domestic life and the Armenian-American relations.
