On the 19th of October, 2010 in Crimea, before the Sitting of the Council of Defence Ministers of the CIS Member Countries, ARM MoD Seyran Ohanyan had bilateral meetings with the defence ministers of the CIS Member Countries, during which they discussed matter of common interest in a bilateral format.
Particularly, the ARM Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan had discussions with the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Mikhail Ezhel. The ministers talked about the relations between the MoDs of the two countries, and the ways they are developed and activated. At the end of the meeting a 2011 cooperation plan between the ministries of defence of the Republic of Armenia and Ukraine was signed. Some of the most important activities of the plan are strategic and operative planning conferences and the cooperation in the spheres of engineering and military education.
