On the 21st of October, 2010 ARM MoD Seyran Ohanyan received ambassador of the UK to Armenia Charles Lonsdale to discuss Lt. Col. Nick Ridout’s completing his mission in Armenia and the appointment of Lt. Col. Steve Philips to his position.
Seyran Ohanyan highly evaluated Ridaut’s activities towards the development of the Armenian-British military cooperation, wishing him success in his future service. Meanwhile, congratulating Lieutenant-Colonel Steve Philips for being appointed on the position of a military attaché of the UK to Armenia, the ARM MoD expressed his confidence that the Armenian-British military cooperation will be more broadened and strengthened during his office.
During the meeting they also discussed bilateral military collaboration and regional security issues.
