On the 28th of October, 2010 ARM MoD Seyran Ohanyan received the ambassador of Austria to Armenia Michael Postl and the military attaché, Brigade-General Helmut Felner.
During the meeting Seyran Ohanyan introduced the ARM defence policy and the security environment. He underlined the importance of the military cooperation with Austria in the frames of the ARM MoD international cooperation, stating that NATO PfP, as well as the bilateral military dialogue promote a number of military directions, particularly, to receive the advisory assistance of an Austrian specialist in peacekeeping.

Seeing the importance of the Armenian-Austrian military cooperation and the open and transparent discussions of defence issues, the ambassador stated, that Austria fully supports Armenia’s efforts aimed at regional security and stability.
