The parties discussed the progress and planned actions of the "Strengthening the application of the European human rights standards in the armed forces in Armenia" project, implemented under the cooperation with the Council of Europe.

Minister Davtyan praised the cooperation between Armenia’s Defence Ministry and PACE, highlighting the importance of sustainability of protecting the human rights, social justice in the Armed Forces, as well as raising the level of awareness of conscripts and their parents, and the trainings of officers and conscripts.
