On 22 May, at about 13.30, the body of conscript Martin Khachatryan (born in 1998, drafted in 2017 from Gyumri MC), with a lethal gunshot wound in the abdominal area was found at an outpost of a military unit located in Armenia’s south-western direction.

An investigation is under way to determine the circumstances of the incident.

The Armenian Defence Ministry conveys its condolences to the family members, relatives and fellow servants of the serviceman.
