The office of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office’s Personal Representative held a scheduled monitoring in the north-eastern sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

From the Armenian side, the inspection was conducted by OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Field Assistants Gennady Petrika and Ognen Jovic. No violations of the cease-fire regime during the border inspection were detected.

Due to complex landscape, it was impossible to ensure a visual inspection, and it was carried out in the form of information exchange for orientating directions.

A briefing was also held as part of the monitoring, during which the OSCE officials were briefed on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, the statistics of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
