Over 2,000 trees planted in Yerablur Military Cemetery

A tree planting project designed to plant trees on more than 10 hectares of land in the Yerablur Military Cemetery has been launched.

Under the project, carried out by the Armenian Ministry of Defence in cooperation with the ATP Charitable Foundation, more than 2000 trees were planted on November 4, covering about 5 hectares of the cemetery.

Top officials from the Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces and the General Staff as well servicemen, freedom fighters and representatives of other state agencies, including those of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and of non-governmental organizations, young members of the Yerkrapah Union and schoolchildren participated in the tree planting event.
