On June 26th, the Norq-Marash military center organized free medical check-ups for family members of servicemen who passed away during the four days of combat operations in April.

Starting from early morning, the medical staff carried out free consultations and detailed cardiovascular examinations on relatives of 25 fallen servicemen who had been registered in Yerevan and Gyumri.

In addition, the relatives were provided with non-term certificates for free cardio-vascular treatments and consultations in the future.

A memorial evening was organized for the fallen servicemen on the same day. Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan, Deputy President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov, state officials, and relatives of fallen servicemen took part in the event.

The value of the brave acts carried out by the fallen servicemen was expressed once again. “We all bow before their parents, since the army gains its strength first of all, from the upbringing provided by families and schools,” stated Minister Sargsyan.

Vigen Sarsgsyan awarded the director of the medical center, Lida Muradyan with the “Garegin Nzhdeh” medal for continuous and effective cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and professional medical services provided to servicemen and their family members.
