Another round of monitoring of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border has taken place

On June 7th, the office of the personal representative of the OSCE president carried out monitoring of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border in the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia.

Assistants to the personal representative of the OSCE president, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Gennadi Petrika and Martin Shuster carried out the monitoring from the Armenian side. No cases of ceasefire violations were registered during the monitoring.

 

During the briefing which took place at the Aygepar community following the monitoring, the OSCE officials were presented with the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and statistics concerning ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani side. The OSCE representatives was particularly encouraged to direct their attention towards the ceasefire violations which were directed towards border-adjacent villages and road.
