Planned emergency drills took place on March 9th, in order to train the staff of the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, and prepare them to act properly and in a coordinated fashion in a variety of situations.

The aim of the planned emergency drills was to test the level of combat and mobilization preparedness and knowledge concerning functional responsibilities of servicemen and special civilian staff working in different departments and subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, while also evaluating their ability to apply their knowledge and act in a coordinated fashion.
