The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has discussed questions concerning bilateral cooperation with the Ambassador of Bulgaria

On February 15th, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva.

Questions concerning bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Bulgaira were discussed during the meeting. The importance of Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation in military industrial matters was also emphasized.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia valued the current level cooperation highly. Noting that Bulgaria was one of the first European nations to engage in defense cooperation with Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan emphasized the potential for developing the cooperation in directions, and expressed the importance of the exchange of experience in matters concerning military police, military education, human resource management, etc.

The Ambassador expressed the willingness of the Bulgarian party to further develop cooperation, and expressed hopes that the cooperation will bear fruit in the near future.

Questions concerning regional security issues were also discussed during the meeting.
