Training sessions for commanders took place at the 4th army corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia

In accordance to the 2017 Armed Forces combat preparedness educational plan, training sessions for commanders and deputy commanders of military bases, battalions, and divisions subordinate to the 4th army corps took place from January 23rd to 27th.

The educational aim of the training sessions was to assess the knowledge and practical skills of the participants in a variety of subjects related to combat preparedness, and enhance methodological preparedness in subdivision managements as it relates to the planning and organization of combat preparation. The training was led by the commander of the corps, Colonel Valeri Kocharyan.
 

During meeting and lectures with the participants, Colonel Valeri Kocharyan spoke about the tasks assigned to the corps and the variety of ways in which they can be carried out, noting that success can be reached through diligent service by each serviceman serving in the combat positions. The nature of the "Nation-army" concept was also presented during the lectures, and references were made to questions concerning organization of service through the "Mission Command" leadership principles.

The deputy commanders and service chiefs of the military corps carried out theoretical and practical training sessions concerning strategic, combat and mobilization, morale, technical and logistics issues, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and professional preparedness of the officers.
