Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, lieutenant-general Movses Hakobyan received the delegation led by adjutant-general of the state of Kansas of the United States of America, commander of the nation guard, major-general Lee Tapaneli, which was in Armenia, in order to take part in the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The delegation expressed congratulations with regards to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, and wishes of peace and new accomplishments.

 

Expressing his gratitude for the congratulations and wishes, lieutenant-general Movses Hakobyan highlighted the fact that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia value the cooperation with the United States of America, and especially the Kansas National Guard very highly. This cooperation has lasted for over 15 years and has developed consistently.

 

Programs of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting, especially those concerning the preparation of skillful sergeants, and the development of military-medical and engineering capabilities.
