The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia received representatives of the EU delegation

On January 18th, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan received the Head of Division for the EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Partnerships and Agreements within the European External Action Service Clara Ganslandt and the head of the delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Armenia Piotr Switalski.

During the meeting, the Minister of Defense expressed content at the commencement of the conference taking place in Yerevan in the context of the EU CSDP course. Vigen Sargsyan expressed the importance of educational programs in defense and security run by the EU, and the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense in these programs.

 

Questions concerning Armenia-EU defense and security relations were discussed during the meeting.
