The delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia is in Georgia

The delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia arrived in Georgia on December 21st.

Following the initial reception ceremony, a meeting took place between the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan, and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Georgia Levan Izoriaya, followed by a meeting between the larger delegations. During the meetings, military cooperation and future programs between Armenia and Georgia were discussed. The parties also referred to regional security issues.

The meetings were concluded with the signing of the 2017 cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia.
The results of the negotiations were summarized during a joint press conference held by the two Ministers of Defense.
