The delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia is in Greece

In accordance with the 2016 plan for bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Greece, the official visit of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Greece commenced on December 19th.

Following the official welcoming ceremony, a meeting took place between the Armenian and Greek delegations, followed by a separate meeting between Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan and Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Greece Panayotis Kamenos. During the meetings, questions concerning Armenian-Greek defense cooperation were discussed.

Valuing the current level of cooperation, the parties agreed to deepen and widen the scope of cooperation in exchange of opinion in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, questions concerning regional and international security were discussed.
Following the negotiations, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan and Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Greece Panayotis Kamenos met with representatives of media organizations, answered questions of interest to journalists and presented the results of the bilateral negotiations.
