The month-long camp taking place at the training grounds had the purpose of enhancing the strategic-professional knowledge and practical skills of of the staff.

During the theoretical and practical lessons and exercises involving armaments, military equipment, supervision of the staff and nighttime training, the level of field preparedness of the staff was improved, the activities of different artillery subdivisions were coordinated, and the commanding staff's strategic-professional abilities and capabilities to govern artillery fire were reinforced.
