A meeting took place between Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan and the deputy director of the "Rostech" state corporation of the Russian Federation Dimitri Shugayev on October 13th, during the "ArmHiTec-2016" first international exhibition of armaments and defense technologies.

The prospects of joint establishment of production cooperatives and organizations in IT, and complex defense and security systems was discussed during the meeting.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia wished the guest a success and effective experience in the "ArmHiTec-2016" international exhibition, and expressed the necessity of continuous cooperation, directed towards the strengthening of the two countries' security and stability.
