Another board meeting has taken place

Another meeting of the board adjacent to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia took place on September 30th, dedicated to the vectors for enhancement of the human resources policy of the Ministry of Defense, questions concerning preparation of professionals in military universities and instructions military bases, as well as the management of the staff of the Armed Forces, recruitment and work carried out around the concept of "Command through Task Assignment."

Representatives of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic also took part in the meeting, as part of the program for cooperation between the two Armenian republics.

Seyran Ohanyan made and official statement concerning the fact that the discussion of issues in human resource management and the military educational system, and the consideration of intelligent solutions to these issues is extremely important for the appropriate conduct of the assignments placed before the Armed Forces as well as the maintenance of the level of combat readiness.

The main report was made by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Davit Tonoyan. Reports were also made by Dputy Chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and commanders of army corps. The reports mainly highlighted the fact that human resource management and military education policy have always aimed to maintain the level of recruitment of the Armed Forces, enhancement of professional capabilities, as well as the preparation of relevant professionals for the recruitment into the officer staff. It has been noted, that significant work has been carried out in the area of staff management, recruiting, and efficient solution of human resource issues, in order to provide junior officer and special civilian workers.

Summarizing the work carried out during the board meeting, Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan once again emphasized the importance of the issues raised for the question of increasing the combat preparedness of the Armed Forces. Several assignments were given regarding upcoming tasks.
