Greeting the guests at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan emphasized the fact that the contribution of the volunteer fighters in the defense of the fatherland is invaluable, whether during the years of the Artsakh Liberation War or the April combat operations.

Emphasizing the importance of continuous cooperation with squadron commanders, militias, and several patriotic civilian organizations, the head of the defense administration noted that it is necessary to do everything possible to show the bravery and patriotism of participants in combat operations to the masses, on order to inspire the youth with their example.

During the meeting, several questions concerning the bestowal of status of participant in combat operations to volunteer fighters. Reference was also made to some of the more controversial questions raised during the previous meetings, and their solutions.
