A working consultation has taken place on August 11th at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, led by Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan. Deputy Ministers, Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, heads of various departments of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as heads of some independent branches, participated in the consultation.

Several questions concerning preparedness of the Armed Forces, combat and mobilization preparedness of the troops, discipline and alertness of the military staff, as well increase of the efficiency with which military assignments are carried out were posed. Relevant reports were made with regards to these questions, as were proposals to address shortcomings.

Summarizing the consultation, the head of the defense administration provided necessary directions for future tasks, specifically noting the areas which need particular attention.
