Meeting between the representatives of the Defence Ministries of Armenia and the Czech Republic

In compliance with Clause 16 of the protocol adopted after the Armenian-Czech Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Committee’s second session, the workshops between the representatives of the Defence Ministries of Armenia and Czech Republic were held from June 13 to 15.

During the workshop, the parties discussed the implementation of the clause, whilst special attention was called upon the military-technical cooperation agreement and further possible partnerships between Armenian and Czech companies.

Within the framework of the Armenian-Czech Committee, the parties also envisaged the establishment of a working group dealing with military-technical cooperation.

The representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic were hosted at the RA Ministry of Defence by State Military Industrial Committee Chairman, RA Deputy Defence Minister David Pakhchanyan, and RA MoD Head of Defence Policy Department Levon Ayvazyan.

Throughout the meeting, views were exchanged on further cooperation development prospects, and subsequently, signed a protocol on the results of their workshop.
