The RA Minister of Defence visits military-industrial enterprises

On May 13th, RA Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan made an official visit to a number of military-industrial enterprises, and attended the opening of the new facility in one of them.

The continuous development of the military-industrial complex is amongst the most important factors in the reform program for the defence system. In this regard, throughout the last years, the military-political leadership’s implemented steps aimed at replenishing the armed forces with domestically produced armaments and military technology.

During his visit, accompanied by concerned officials and experts, Seyran Ohanyan acquainted himself with the technical equipment of the enterprises, the samples of military products, as well as the process of their manufacturing, repair and modernization. The Minister of Defence was presented with the new products, future programs, and the main directions of work.

Whilst observing the ongoing activities and stressing the importance of further improving the military-industrial complex, within the context of increasing the armed forces’ capabilities, the Defence Minister gave all concerned officials relevant assignments.
