The Visit of the First Deputy Minister of Defence of Georgia to Armenia

On January 24-25, 2011 the delegation headed by First Minister of Defence of Georgia Nodar Kharshiladze was in Armenia on a working trip.
On 24 January a tête-à-tête conversation between First Deputy Minister of Defence of Armenia Davit Tonoyan and Mr. Kharshiladze took place. Then a meeting of the two delegations was held. During the meeting, the importance of the bilateral cooperation in spheres of military-education and peacekeeping was underlined, as well as the exchange of experience in the sphere of defence reforms that are in process in both countries.

On 25 January the members of the Georgian delegation visited the ARM MoD V. Sargsyan Military Institute and the ARM MoD peacekeeping brigade. Today ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan received Nodar Kharshiladze. During their meeting they discussed a number of issues of mutual importance. ARM MoD Department of Information and Public Affairs
