On February 5th, the chief of the Defence Policy department of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Levon Ayvazyan received the Head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia Caroline Douilliez.

The parties discussed ongoing cooperation between the RA Ministry of Defence and the Red Cross International Committee, planning issues, and upcoming programs.

During the meeting the "2016 Cooperation Plan for International Humanitarian Law" was signed.

The program includes various seminars concerning international humanitarian law and scientific-methodological capacity building and awareness raising activities.
